Bald as a……….

Well the Coot chicks were out for a swim when I went for a late afternoon walk in the estate. Bald as a Coot is so true, and these chicks are ugly but cute at the same time!  Mum came for some food, and then headed off on her own leaving Dad to feed the babies (more in extras).  Also in extras a collage of flowers on the estate, and photos from the bird hide - Woody Woodpecker was feeding a fledgling Woody.  Not the best shots as they were moving so quickly!  I also couldn’t resist a photo of the sign in the back window of a very old, and very slow moving Nissan Micra!
