Serenissima!

Back in beautiful Venice and feeling like I have come home. It very nearly went wrong......grandson was to collect me at 3am - when he didn't arrive I rang him and he had slept through his alarm! A swift journey to Manchester and very efficient parking system meant we arrived almost at the time we had 
planned  Easy check in and security and then into the Aspire Lounge for some peace & quiet  and a nice breakfast.  A very smooth and quick flight then the Alilaguna into the city.  Found our "go to" bar and had to have Aperol Spritz. A couple of those and then a walk to San Marco.  Very hot and we were tired so back to the hotel for an early night. More in extras.
