Snowflake

Today, the winter solstice, is the day we returned from our week-long holiday to the Hunter Valley and Nelson Bay. Fun as it was, I always like coming home. How gratifying to step into the back garden and see the first of the snowflakes. There was none out when we left and I'd like to think they came out today, to herald the return of the sun.

The extra is another tiny garment, completed today. Our grand daughter won't be a solstice baby but she won't be far off.
