Hidden Gardens
I was at yoga when DPD tried to deliver my new trekking shoes so I spent a chunk of the afternoon in Pollokshields retrieving them from the pick up point, and visiting the Hidden Gardens, a beautiful space dedicated to peace.
The printer issue continues and after another frustrating morning I ordered a new one, complete with cables that may or may not be compatible with the malfunctioning one.
I have renewed the duct tape in my old shoes and intend to carry on wearing them for the rest of the summer. At least I have a replacement pair in the right size - the manufacturer is no longer making half sizes, I was lucky enough to to get one of the last pairs.
According to the gardener in the Hidden Gardens figs are quite easy to grow in Scotland providing they are in full sunlight and relatively sheltered. This one has three fruit, far fewer than it used to have apparently. Hopefully at least one of them will stay there long enough to ripen.
