Along the canal

Great to be reunited with the Gang of Four, minus A who was on jury duty. We walked from Kirkintilloch to the Falkirk Wheel where we had coffee and cake before returning to the canal tow path and onwards to Falkirk. 
By this time it was after 5 and the trains had stopped running in preparation for tomorrow’s strike and we discovered bussing it from Falkirk to Glasgow is not that straightforward. I thought we did rather well to be back in Glasgow for 8 by taking a bus to Stirling, another one to Cumbernauld and a third to Glasgow.
P and I missed the final choir practice before the summer break which I wasn’t bothered about but I think P was a bit disappointed. Anyway all good fun and 28km in the bag.
