Monday night wrestling

For work reasons I went to The O2 tonight to see WWE wrestling, RAW for those interested!

I have to say that they really do put on a great show and the kids (and quite a few adults) absolutely love it. I think it's clever how little wrestling they actually do and that much of the time is spent hyping up the next show or setting the next part of the narrative with the usual back stage arguments and changing of allegiances.

However when they do 'fight' that is also impressive. Although it might not be 'real' they are still phenomenal athletes, who really do put their bodies on the line.

At the front of this six man rumble is The Undertaker, who must be about 106 by now as he as been at it, since I was a kid. Just a shame that Hulk Hogan didn't make an appearance.
