Seaside Poppy

A change of plans today!  Was meant to be having haircuts but our hairdresser rang first thing to cancel as she has a few family issues going on, so that's now rearranged for next week!

So we headed in to Southend as had a few bits to do in there, and then went along the seafront for an early lunch and cuppa in our favourite little cafe. ON the walk down we spotted this lovely pink poppy - I need to go back and get some seeds from it haha!

Productive afternoon now too, mostly staying in the shade as it's rather warm again today.. storms forecast now for tomorrow but it looks like i'm back on watering duties again tonight!  Just need to do it early as last time I did it I came back in covered in gnat bites!! They're back and they like my blood!!
