What did you learn in school today?

I learnt that:

- sometimes you need to trust your own instincts;
- a liberating aspect of getting older is that you can be (reasonably) vocal at work without worrying about the consequences;
- just when you think the tories can’t get any worse, they do;
- the third age is as busy as every other age and the concept of leisure time is elusive;
- you cannot expect your energy levels to be predictable when you get older;
-Lifting heavy bags of bark gives you backache.

I have learnt some of these lessons before but learnt them again today.
