So beautiful! They’d be about 25cms long.

There’s ice along the edge of the Arrow River now. Missy was very puzzled by it too, kept on treading on the edges and jumping in fright when it snapped under her weight. There was no way she wanted to go in though. She’s far too little for that malarkey.

A friend came walking with us and he reminded me of the time when my husband Brian walked across the Arrow River, when it was frozen bank to bank. I don’t think that it’s going to be cold enough for that to happen this winter.
