Pterophorus pentadactyla

The common name is the white plume moth .
Well decided to get confidence on my E-bike after the fall at Easter so rode it down to the bike shop for it's annual service, I was offered an extra riding mode that has been developed but thought better of it !! So service cost just £15 rather cheaper than an MOT !! and I clocked up 12 miles there and back , so a good morning .
This afternoon decided to mow the front lawn as it is pretty wild !! Lots of these moths kept escaping from the long grass as the mower got nearer to them, so took a couple of snaps of them.
