Cherry Harvest abstract

It was too hazy for one of my favourite forms of abstract: shadows - in fact, very close and muggy. (Daughter had a headache all day, to which I'm sure the oppressive weather was a contributor.) My other favourite way of creating abstracts is through cropping a small section of a picture. After that, it sometimes works as is, and other times I may apply a filter or layered texture. So here's today's abstract, with thanks to host, Ingeborg, and to Photoshop!

LMB harvested these ripe cherries from the tree in their garden. Even I, who don't claim to like cherries, admit the one I sampled was delicious. They're the sort that go in Black Forest gateaux, and I love that cake!
