Procrastination

Sleeping in is habit forming. It did not prevent me from completing my to do list though. The ironing has taken a back seat to outdoor jobs or anything else I can find to put that job aside. Finally, I used the rainy day to catch up. I was happy for the rain because we need it. As you can see, there were many wrinkled items. And there was a stack on the couch that isn’t in the picture. The tiny inset photo at the bottom left, validates my complete success. But my knees are not happy. I was also able to pack to go to Kim’s and put away any clutter so hubby will have clean surfaces for his bachelor week. He caught up on paperwork while I was sleeping. My mother has been coughing a bit so hubby asked if she wanted him to do a COVID test; she’s been out and about. It was negative as we expected but it gave her peace of mind. He purchased her groceries and re-bandaged her arm. Says the two-week old wound is healing. And that was our day. Dinner is already cooked. Thanks for dropping by, leaving such kind comments about my niece. No news about Ukraine but the last report I heard sounded bleak. Stay safe. ”The best thing one can do when it’s raining is to let it rain.” – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
