A day of two halves

Incredibly warm whilst walking from North Shore to Pleasure Beach and back this morning / early afternoon. Loved the reflections in the pools on the beach. We then went to the cricket via the pub. 
It started well and was absolutely packed. However a few overs in and it got very black. A few more overs and the heavens opened. We sat for 45 minutes on the hope of a resumption but match abandoned. 
We were soaked and decided to go back to the centre play on the amusements and have a hot doughnut! The sky was lovely again
