Red squirrel

Who was looking around for more food left out for the chicken. No, we don't have a chicken , but one of our neighbors had 10 to start with and let them out of the run frequently. Lately though the numbers visiting went from 6 to 5 to 3 and now only 1. My understanding from another neighbor is the fence fell down and blocked the entry so they were out all of the time. There are foxes locally  , and hawks and eagles... I don't know if he fixed it because you can't see it from the road, but chicken ( or Penelope which the dtr wants to call her) comes over for bird seed and the odd blueberry . At this point I assume since she is still alive that she has a safe place to roost but I am seriously thinking about getting her a home if she doesn't have a safe roost.
