Dad's on the lookout

From the noise coming from the birdhouse it seems like he should be on the lookout for food for some youngsters. He seems to be pretty content to let them yell ( or cheep loudly) and just hang out on the branches above the nest. Another nuthatch nest gone wrong. This one appears to have a family of house sparrows in it  . I am not sure what it takes to actually get nuthatches in a nuthatch box- I seem to find everything else using them. Oh , well , I guess even house sparrows need a place to live.
