A pondering day

Still quite stiff, had a dreadful headache and a bit spaced out yesterday but feel more with it today.

I have been debating as to whether to send the camera and lens off to Nikon to get checked as they left the front seat at some considerable rate on impact, the combined impact speed was about 80mph so it flew a short distance but testament to Nikon appears unscathed on the surface at least.

Some good news, Tom has booked his ticket to go to America. He lands in New York on independence day and then is heading off to Boston the next day via a circuitous route. Its only for a week but he's really excited and looking forward to it, a good end to his final exams before university in September.

This is an enlarger lens and has been in the hands of a notable photographer and printer, many images have been printed through this lens, iirc this is one of them. he gave it to me a few years ago. In these days of print jets, ink jets and lambda it seems a little bit of history, I do use it occasionally :-)
