This sign is on the high peak trail, quite a few bits and bobs like this around the trail. The high peak Trail was originally the old railway line, narrow gauge I think that linked the quarries in the peak and the canals of the midlands.

Its mainly a walking and cycling track now but cuts through some of the nicest scenery in the peak.

feeling more normal now and the insurance has come back with a half decent quote for replacing the car so now its time to see whats available second hand. I'm not a fan of this process as I have no ability to spot a lemon but its kinda nice to look at what one could be next.
