Little Red Wagon

This is a little roadside diner that serves up great hamburgers, onion rings, fries, a variety of Mexican food, and assorted other delicacies. It looks like kind of a dump and I guess it is, but has fresh, hot, good food reasonably priced. It is kind of a local institution. You can't help but read the owner's story on little easels on each table, each sentence ending in an exclamation point. My favorite sign is behind the counter: "Want a hamburger for breakfast? You got it!" (Note the exclamation point - there's no charge for those.)

There's a large Texas fast food chain called Whataburger - it's actually rather good - that also promotes availability of hamburgers at 6 in the morning (and I've taken them up on it, after being up for three or four days working a fire, flood, ice storm or other catastrophe, when the time of day has pretty much lost its meaning), but the Little Red Wagon has been doing it quietly and probably for much longer.
