St George's Day

The plan was to hang my wooden dragon in the garden and to take a photo of it with a zoom burst effect. I've never tried zoom burst before so I googled a quick tutorial then went outside to try it. I tried various settings and the results were rubbish. I'm doing something wrong but don't know what yet, but I won't be defeated.
