Orkney

Begins benign.  We met Anne and Alastair in Kirkwall and walked to the top of Wideford Hill, I haven’t been up there for several years.  A stiff sooth-east breeze gradually rose during the afternoon.  Many islands were visible - in this direction Wyre, Eynhallow, Rousay and Damsay.  Got messages in Kirkwall and then retreated.
