birthday bluebells

i'm not at home this year (a usual state of affairs) so my mother has to wait for her birthday gift til monday night! well, it's worth the wait, so that's ok. there should be a card on the mat whenever the post bothers to arrive, and we had a little text conversation at lunchtime, so i'm not that bad a daughter. and tho she doesn't have the internet to check blip (for which in some ways i'm eternally grateful), i'm saying that these bluebells seen here in the backyard are for her.

it's been a seriously frustrating couple of nights conversation-wise; i'm sick of 'i will' turning into 'i can't', esp when i have to check whether it's can or can't at the last minute. grr.
