Spot the dog . . .

A very wild and windy day today. Spent the morning nice and snug in the kitchen, baking a border tart, a pastry and cake concoction with lots of ground almonds and fruit in it. Warmed the place up and filled it with lovely smells!

Ollie and I went to visit neighbours later and came away with some frozen organic steak mince, with a sell by date of 2008 on it! They've just bought themselves a new freezer and when thawing the old one, found a couple of packs of mince lurking in the depths! I shall cook it for Ollie tomorrow! Lucky dog!

I've blipped the inside of this derelict house before, it is on the outskirts of the village, but never the back of it. The rusty metal ball is an old buoy. Both it and the cottage have seen better days!
