A Day in the Country

As I said last night we were away at “sparrows fart” and at our destination by 9am……A amazing set up, all the families had set themselves up with their tents around the grassed area, with a big shed for BBQ, tables, a large chiller, sink with running water etc etc. We arrived the large fire from the previous night was still burning, and by the look of some of the blokes it had been quite a big night. The kids, ranging from one to fourteen we’re having a blast with the older ones taking the smaller ones for rides on the four-wheeler, there was tractor rides, archery, ball games and much more.  As mentioned yesterday we herded in the cattle for branding (I have photos but I’m not going to show).  This group of people are all great mates from the Townsville tennis club, a quick count of kids I got up to fifteen and four dogs!  Under different circumstances our family would have been there for the weekend as well, we’re the party poopers.

Mr blip is Lexi roasting and eating marshmallows.

We’re all very jaded, early to bed for us all.
