Baking

Mum and Dad went off to work early. Kaylene starts at 6am, Aidan works very dumb hours, he is a Townsville manager of a world wide shipping company, if a ship comes in at night he has to be on duty. He often works from home and takes naps at odd hours. It can be very hard on him but hopefully with the new guy he has just employed will give him longer breaks. He starts next week so we are all having a mini break up the coast for three nights starting tomorrow.  There is a chap flying up from Newcastle to fill the void for four days.
Today has been prep day, biscuits and cake with Lexi’s help. I made a big lasagne this afternoon to take.
Very hot, 29°, we had a refreshing swim in their pool this afternoon.  A lovely reviver.
