A good day in school today but one mentee absent and the other in a test, meant that I had a bit of waiting around to do. Realising that it’s that time of the year what with exams and trips and sports days and work experience etc etc, we have to be super flexible and go with what the schools are doing. With all the GCSE exam stuff being packed away, it definitely feels like the slow wind down has begun.

Onto Oxford after school for some family camping. Once we were all set up, we headed out for pizza and beer. It became apparent early on that red kites were going to be an issue and we then watched them swoop down and steal people’s pizzas from them! Dramatic but a little terrifying. Thankfully, we found shelter under cover!

Looking forward to a weekend in our favourite field in Oxford!
