Kirkcudbright Bay

Today's the day ....................... to get out

It may have been a wild, wet and stormy day but we felt like celebrating - because today, for the first time in over a week - we tested negative for The Covid.  Woohoo to that, I say!

We didn't go far - just out into Kirkcudbright Bay at The Dhoon - but it was enough to blow the cobwebs away.  Those rotting timbers that you can see are all that remain of the schooner 'Monreith', of Wigtown, wrecked in the Bay on the 12th November 1900.

The extra is a little bit more of the flotsam and jetsam to be found here on the beach today ............................
