Personal styling

Mr PHL had offered to get up with Ohin in the morning so I could have a lie in, I think he knew I’d consumed more wine than was good for me last night. Was a little fuzzy when I finally surfaced but nothing that a bacon and egg sandwich didn’t sort out!

Took Phin for a quick trip round the stream before heading into town to meet Miss PHL who was coming with me to a personal styling appointment at John Lewis. Although I think I’ve found the dress I’m going to wear at the wedding, I wanted to see what other options were out there.

My stylist was a lovely young man called Ben who had selected a number of dresses for me, and went out to the shop floor several times to find me other selections too. Some of his choices looked a little off the wall on the hanger but we’re nice on and others just didn’t work on me. Whilst I didn’t find anything to match the one I’ve got already, I did buy two dresses which will look good on holiday.

Miss PHL had time to look at the summer sales and picked up a few items to try on at home. Mr PHL brought Phin in to meet us and we had an early dinner at Pho. It’s rapidly becoming my favourite restaurant as its dog friendly!

Home for a nice hot bath and to sort out my blips. Sorry I’m behind again with journals but will catch up soon.
