Langstadt

Today I made a ride on my bike of a bit more than 50km. It wasn't too hot, only the promised thunderstorm could be felt.
I came also through Langstadt and noticed this protestant church. Langstadt is part of the municipality Babenhausen and has 1600+ inhabitants, of whom 75% feel protestant.
Inauguration was in 1880, Langstadt at that time had around 500 inhabitants only. Quite a big church for such a little village.
By the way, the church was built for 110,000 Mark (28% more than the estimated 40,000 Gulden (guilder)). In modern money 110,000 Mark is approximately 745,000 Euro.
