1619 - Pellucid Hoverfly or Volucella pellucens

I have only seen these once before - up near Braemar.  They are fairly huge for a hoverfly and don't seem to be too bothered when you approach them slowly.  I like the way their wings arch close to their body.  Another shot in the extras.
