Lake Tohopekaliga Great Blue Heron

Boggy Creek Airboats provided us with a fantastic treat today.

It was our first experience in an airboat and it did not disappoint.

Lake Tohopekaliga is part of the headwaters for the Everglades further south in Florida.

Zooming along at 35-40 mph with frequent interspersed stops to view the wildlife was really quite a kick.

A trip to Florida would be sadly deficient without an airboat ride as part of the fun.
