Which is my Favourite?

Started the day with looking at your Blips then ventured into the garden again.
Chopped down and uprooted all the Aquilegia - they don’t half spread.  
There are big empty spaces where they were so I need some small plants to put there. They had grown at the front of the border hiding everything behind. 
Suddenly very tired after lunch so had 40 (or 400!) winks.
Now I’m fit for nowt.
Sabrina phoned to say Johnnie tested positive at work - they test them weekly. I gave him a hug goodbye yesterday morning! :-0
Frank has been unwell today - very upset tummy 8-[

It’s been quite cold and breezy today and it’s now raining.

Which Rose?

We were sitting in the garden
he asked me which is my favourite rose
I looked at each bloom, then at him,
do you actually suppose
that I could choose just one of them
like the small red clusters over there
or the one that climbs over the wall
with the petals so white and fair
or the yellow rose of peace
with the edges of delicate blush
the palest pink one at the back
that started out as a tiny bush
the three lovely shades of pink
that are growing over the archway
that have to be trained and secured
so they don’t go their own way.
I love the mauve one by the fence
with the centres of raggedy yellow
ask me again which I would choose
and I would say - no young fellow
for all the roses in my garden
are there for their beauty and scent
they delight the eye and the nose
and each one is heaven sent
