British summer!
Good old British summer - not only is it miserable, wet and windy, it's quite cool as well.
Went to the gym this morning and did some housework (cleaning) this afternoon.
Caching trip fully planned, details printed out, caches on GPSr, route sorted.
Hope the weather is better than the forecast for tomorrow.
Last night my daughter had to take my granddaughter Sofia (aged 6) to A&E (doctor told her to take her but I'd told her to as well! Sofia has had a bad cough for a couple of days but yesterday evening it was worse, she complained of headaches and had a temp of over 40C plus she had eaten nothing and drank very little. They were in A&E till 5:30am - nightmare! To cut a long story short, they did some blood tests and waited till she could pass urine to test that and once the results were in and she'd started drinking, plus her temp was a bit better (it was still high at over 38C) probably due to the calpol Karen had given her so they let her go home but told Karen to take her back if she was lethargic or not drinking etc. Diagnosed viral illness. No test for covid done.
I said to Karen how about testing her for it today and so she did - it was positive. Karen was also feeling a bit peaky so she did a test on herself - positive!
Sofia is improving but is still unwell - has eaten a little and drank better. Karen is working from home!
