Blackland Distillery

Dan was kind enough to make my Father’s Day special this year with a tour of a local distillery - they make Vodka, Gin, Bourbon and Rye Whiskey here and after the tour we were treated to a flight of all of these including their sweetened bourbon with added muscavado sugar. But on arriving they also gave us a delicious cocktail to enjoy at the bar - I had one of the best Old Fashioneds I had ever had - the tour was very interesting and I even got to taste some maturing bourbon straight from the barrel - Dan was very good and didn’t drink much so he could drive - by the time we had finished I.was certainly glad I wasnt!
