Alabaster

An up and down sort of day, the highlight being coffee with one of my neighbours. P was keen to hear about my trip while I was looking forward to her account of getting stuck in the lift with M and M which was indeed hilarious. The response from the lift people was pretty good at 40 minutes. We discussed more serious matters including an alabaster carving of The Trinity in The Burrell which prompted me afterwards to go and it see it more attentively, and it provided a blip.
In between times I was glued to the phone trying to set up various things with one outfit, accomplished after speaking to five different people all of whom were calm and courteous so that I didn’t really need to deploy patience, restraint and equilibrium….much.
