sempervivum

I planted a few kinds of Sempervivum last year and I'm very excited to see that they have flowered. The flowers are so pretty close up as well.

I've had a day at home; it was showery first thing and the washing was taken in a couple of times before it dried. The Openreach engineer came for an external survey and I was prepared for him to say that there was no way he could get a cable to the house...but in the end he used the old landline cable to string it through the tree branches and over the top of the outbuilding. Now its all ready for 13th July, when another  engineer will drill a hole into the house and fix the box and router. D is still cynical than wifi will penetrate the thick internal walls of our house, but as the engineer said, whatever speeds we get (promised minimum 50 MB/s, hoping for 100 MB/s) will be better than what we have had up until now..

The weather improved throughout the day and I got some walking and gardening done.

Cant believe that tomorrow will be the last day of June!
