Quarry

After a short run this morning I took Jet out for his pre lunch walk. This wood is just behind the castle and was once the quarry where stone for the castle and homes was quarried. Over the years nature has gradually reclaimed it. 

Today I rather like the dappled light coming through the canopy. Jet decided to get in the act investigating the various scents.
