A Bird’s Eye View

First day of works after the erection of the scaffolding yesterday.  I took advantage of the access to change over a floodlight on the back wall of the house, changing a high wattage bulb for low. Wattage LED. I don’t like going up ladders, which would be the normal way to access the flood lamp.  It’s funny, I can stand on the edge of a cliff, but take me up 3 rungs of a ladder and I start to get apprehensive.

I was sad to hear about the death of Dame Deborah James yesterday.  Such a remarkable person, who has made great efforts to normalise discussion around cancer, this was here farewell on Instagram…“find a life worth enjoying; take risks; love deeply; have no regrets; and always, always have rebellious hope. And finally, check your poo – it could just save your life.” x
