Lucky Accident

This dog-eared looking water lily is perhaps only a couple of inches across and hopefully demonstrates that the water treatment I referred to the other day did not harm them.

I underexposed substantially because of the bright reflections on the leaf and consequently the image was initially very dark. Only when I lifted the shadows could I see the swirly patterns in the water and its deep blue hue.

I rather like the abstract nature of this image with its minimalist shapes and patterns.
