Buzzing

So I lost a month of my secondment to the special project I am working on due to diverting to the Ukraine response and today got the welcome news that they will reinstate that month from this years budget which is great.

We also have our first face to face meeting since before Covid next week. We all need to do daily Covid tests and some couldn’t get uk visas but in general preparations seem to be going well and I’m looking forward to the event. It’s followed by ‘hostile environment security training which is mandatory for all humanitarian staff. Going to Ukraine reminded me how useful it is.
