Diddly Squat .......

Another day of this and that.
Mrs F still at work this week so spent most the day back and forward doing Dad's taxi again whilst also trying to do some work !
Round the cattle first thing then nabbed Kev and headed down the road to do a spot of tree limbing/ garden hedge felling as my house down there needs a new heating oil tank and you can't get near the old one for foliage. Got him to lift me up in the loader man crate while I got stuck in to the higher branches.
Back up the road to drop Littlemiss at her first driving lesson,then dropped Junior at the castle for his work,back home in time for the judge from the local agricultural society to have a look at a bull I've entered for this year's Bain Trophy. He is going round farms today looking at stock bulls as that is this year's category. Don't think mine will be in with a shout ,but helps keep the numbers of entries up.
Dropped Littlemiss off at the castle for her shift too then a trip to the chiro tonight !
Eventually sat down at tea time and had another go at reading this book. It's only 200 pages long and has big print, so not exactly War and Peace, but Mr Clarkson has definitely hit the farming nail on the head . I actually found myself laughing out loud at bits of it as he reveals his take on stuff any farmer knows and deals with every day. Like death wish sheep, government rules and red tape made up by idiots and lots of other things,all to make not a lot of profit at the end of it all. Welcome to my life !
