Canada Day 2022

A very happy Canada Day to all our Canadian Blippers! In a previous life I always hoisted The Maple Leaf flag with great pride and respect to all Canadians on this day, which today marks the 155th Anniversary of the first Canada Day.

(I’ve only been to Canada twice but would love to go again!)

Much nearer to home there is a stand off between Heinz and Tesco over prices. The immediate result of this is empty shelves in our local supermarket. This dispute, aside, the cost of our trolley load, as we reach the checkout is climbing every time we go!

After school today we played Harry Potter Top Trumps. Much to our 9 year old’s surprise Granny won and Grandpa was runner up!

The sun came out this evening. Maybe the weather this weekend will be ok after all?
