The Cattle Drive..............

................in Fort Worth.

Day 2. Set off from Houston this morning in sunshine and at 76 deg.C - during the drive up to Fort Worth, it steadily got colder and colder and by the time we got here it had dropped 26deg. down to 50 C !!!! ( Good old Anni had put a couple of lightweight, windproof jackets (just in case!!!!!) in her suitcase!) Anyway, 4.0pm, the Cattle Drive began - beautiful animals - 5 Cowboys and a Cowgirl. It did not take very long and was SO quiet ! - the humans didn't "yahoo" and the beasts didn't "moo" - I think Anni expected the cows to moo and remarked that the cowboys should have had "Moo-machines" attached to them! and also that the animals would have been less sedate!
Still very cold and pleased to go for a steak and a drink then back to our hotel and "Blip" !!!
