Oblivious

Walking Elvis this morning and off in the distance I saw a young(ish) fawn. It was coming out of the woods behind our house as I walked towards the woods. First pic I took is one of the extras to give an idea of how far away it was. It “boinged” along. It got closer, and closer. Elvis and I stood still. It still kept coming. Elvis didn’t make a sound. I took more pictures. The main pic is as close as it got, before it suddenly realized we were there, a few feet away. It turned and “boinged” off in the opposite direction. No sign of mum though. Until, that is, we had gone deeper into the woods and there she was in the distance (extra pic 2). No sign of the fawn. They are starting to wander off now, even though they still have the spots. Mrs SoL saw another group behind the house this morning as well. They must feel safer now that the hunting season is closed.
