Scenes Through A Bus Window
Day 2 in Dublin. Today we took an interesting tour of Dublin on a bus, showing all the high points on the way to a river boat cruise down the Liffey.
Here you can see a replica of the boat Jeanie Johnston, which carried Irish refugees from the great potato famine across the ocean to a new life in America or Canada. Next is one of Dublin's most famous (and beautiful!) Georgian doors, and finally a glimpse from the bus window of some friends enjoying lunch at a sidewalk cafe, accompanied by their pet parrot -- as one does!
Lovely weather today -- almost no rain, plenty of sunny bits, and nice and warm to boot!
