นานๆที

The title above, I believe, is Thai for "at long last".  Back at the beginning of February, I ordered a trio of hand made rice baskets from a shop in Chiang Mai.  Today, five months later, they arrived in Boston!

They are still shrouded in bubble wrap, because I don't want them to become damaged on their final journey to Maine, but you can still see how beautifully painted they are.  They will go on the stone hearth of the fireplace at Portside, where hopefully they will do a stellar job of distracting the eye from the truly hideous ceramic tiles of galleons that are inlaid into the chimney breast.
