Imperial

I was trying to focus on this Emperor Dragonfly in flight. Not easy. Fortunately it decided to take a breather from its hawking activity and landed quite near me.

Whilst I was out by the pond practicing my not very good focussing skills, J was sorting out her fingernails. In the afternoon there was a bio blitz going on at nearby Trowborough Quarry nature reserve, counting every animal that could be seen in 24 hours.
