Cooling off
I felt so much better this morning after a good night's sleep - the week has just been too busy for me with late nights and I needed to catch up on sleep.
Gavin went off on another training run, he did another half marathon and so as I was waiting for him to come back, we set off for our morning walk with Xena a little later than usual. Xena went to paddle in this pond, she is not a swimmer but likes to cool off by standing in the water.
I thankfully have a much quieter week coming up but I will be busy getting everything ready for Tommy's 21st party which is next weekend. Today we dropped off letters in our neighbours' post boxes to let them know that we are having a party so to expect a bit more noise than usual. It is acceptable to do that around here, we don't mind when neighbours have a party as like us it is usually an infrequent event.
Now fingers crossed that I don't get Covid again, with all the socialising this week, shaking hands and kissing people hello it would not be surprising if I do! But feeling totally fine, its just the thought did cross my mind. Mind you, I am no longer prepared to sit at home like a hermit to avoid it.
