After a busy weekend, today was also a busy day. I had a few loads of laundry to do after the boys staying overnight, and then I was in and out all day doing errands - groceries, post office, pharmacy, UPS collection point to return a parcel....plus of course two walks for Xena. I also had so many photos to edit from Tommy's graduation and from the lovely day at Glyndebourne yesterday, but those are now all done. I also remembered to order a grocery delivery to Norfolk as we are going there on Friday.

Wimbledon started today so of course we had to have a bit of rain. It has been windy today, and we had a little rain before the sunshine returned. Last month has been declared the hottest June that the UK has ever had, the heat did go on and on and I don't mind the slightly cooler temperatures we are having now.

The day has flown by and now it is already the end of the day - I still have ironing to do, I need to cook supper, and must start looking at journals...

The heather is starting to bloom on the common, it gets quite pretty with a purple haze as summer goes on.
