cha robh an t-uisge ann

It wasn't raining this morning and so I went for a walk through the woods to the Black Spout which was in full flow.  

It still wasn't raining this afternoon and so I got on with some gardening - mainly weeding. 

I then spent some time in the kitchen - making a cake salé for a u3a lunch on Tuesday, further developing my quiche-making skills (progress is being made but there is scope for further improvement) and investigating chutney making in the jam and jelly maker we bought a while back (it seemed successful but a tasting tomorrow will confirm). 

It still isn't raining - although it looks like it might - hopefully next week will be drier than last week.
