Summertime

It’s summertime in the cottage town near my home. It’s only a 5 minute drive down the road for me, whilst people travel from far and wide to vacation on this Great Lake.

It’s truly beautiful, though I often don’t stop to take it all in. These double stop signs and this gorgeous tree overhang from the front window of our electric car seemed like the perfect reminder to stop moving so fast and take pleasure in the little things.

I received some news today that’s positive, and I feel in total shock. I’m trying to process everything, and I think borrowing a lesson from this photo is exactly what I need to do.
